About Us
We’re Jack and Maggie Simpson. Originally from Maryland, we’ve proudly called Gulf Breeze home for the past 7 years. During that time, we’ve welcomed three wonderful children into our family, and with kids comes plenty of projects around the house! Jack has been put to the test over the years building, creating, and tackling new ideas — and he’s loved every minute of it.
Over the last few months, we made a local move here in the area and officially started our new venture, Backyard Timber. We always knew we wanted to build something of our own, but we weren’t exactly sure what that would look like. As it turns out, God’s timing truly is everything. After completing a playset for our own kids, Jack realized how much he enjoyed the process and how he could help other families create special spaces for their children and homes too.
Right now, Backyard Timber is offering custom playsets and porch swings, and we’re excited to continue growing. If you have other ideas or projects in mind, please reach out — Jack is eager to get started and bring your vision to life!
